Summary of Job Duties:
This position is casual, 1-2 days per week.
The Physical Therapist will provide on an ongoing basis, physical therapy to Community LIFE participants in an effort to regain or compensate for mobility, strength, range of motion, pain, and/or discomfort with the expected outcome of helping improve the quality of life and independence for recipients of this therapy. The Physical Therapist must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to assess, plan care for and provide service to frail elders according to assigned responsibilities and Community LIFE standards.
Must be a graduate of a physical therapy curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) with the minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
Pennyslvania PT license, Driver's License.
At least 2 years’ experience with the geriatric population.
